At the beach in February

I took these pictures on my camera phone, so they aren't the best.

The girls were so excited to go out to the beach

and look for shells.

It was almost 80 degrees and the

breeze made it feel wonderful!

We took the ferry over to the beach,

which is always a treat!

WE HAVE A HEARTBEAT!!!!!

We went to the doctor today for an ultrasound.

We saw the baby and we HEARD the heartbeat!

What a wonderful sound!

Our due date is October 3, 2006!

Crazy Hammy!

Hammy, as she calls herself, decided to wear her bike

helmet backwards today!

She asked me to take her picture, so these are

my silly little Hammy.

She wants to be four like her big sister.

PUPPY LOVE

We got a new puppy!

His name is Spot!

Amber picked him out and Heather named him.

He's a sweet and playful puppy.

The Playroom

I just realized that I'd never posted pictures of the finished playroom.

The girls absolutely love it!

We went to DISNEY WORLD!!!!

We went to Disney World to celebrate Heather and Grandma Barbara's Birthdays! We all had a wonderful time! We spent our first day at Epcot, our second day at Magic Kingdom, and our final day at Animal Kingdom. We stayed at the All Star Music Resort. It was so much fun!

We are getting a PLAYROOM!!!!

Mommy has been very busy!

She is turning "Grandma's room", into a play room for us!

We are getting carpet on Friday, January 6th, so Mommy

only had a couple of days to do all this work!

Day 1 - stripping the wallpaper

Day 2 - wallpaper is finally stripped!

Day 3 - primer on the walls

Day 4 - paint on the walls!

Day 5 - primer on the doors and trim

Mommy has finally finished putting the paint

on the trim too!

Now we just have to wait for our carpet, and

we can move our toys in!

Heather and Amber will be sharing a room, so that

Amber's room will be our new guest bedroom.

Our Christmas!!!

Heather and Amber spent Christmas in Bluffton, SC at

their Grandma and Auntie's house. Heather and Amber hamming it up for the camera.
The girls got books from Auntie Stacy, so they decided that

they would read them in the dog's beds.

The child wants a CHIA PET!

I'm shocked to say that Heather wants a Chia pet for Christmas. I think it is sooooo funny! I have a black thumb, so we'll see if Heather is the same as her mommy. She wants to go back to see Santa, so she can tell him more things that she wants. She points to her fingers and says, "Star station, polly pocket, chia pet....1,2,3."

Visiting Santa

We went to the mall today to see Santa. Heather has been begging to go for a while! Amber was scared, but Heather was so excited. She asked Santa for a Polly Pocket.

Birthday time!

Amber was so excited to open all of her presents. She got all Dora the Explorer toys. What a great day!

I can't believe that Amber is 2 already!!!!
Where has the time gone? She is growing up so fast!
We will be having cake and presents tonight. So is going to be so excited! Everything is Dora the Explorer, her favorite.

Amber is sick right now, hopefully she'll be better soon. She's got an ear infection in both ears right now, and she is just miserable. I'm hoping that she'll perk up for her birthday.

Halloween

The girls were so excited to get dressed up and go trick or treating. We had a good time visiting all the neighbors and getting lots of candy.

Our angel baby

I'm just a little sad tonight. Thinking about the baby that we lost. Our baby would have been 1 month old right now. I took just a little time and made a scrapbook page for our angel baby. Now that we have decided that our family is complete with just the 4 of us, I know that any baby that I hold in the future will not be ours.

Hilton Head, South Carolina

We had a great visit with Grandma Barbara and Aunt Elizabeth. We went out to dinner one night and got to see a great sunset.

Homeschooling!!!!

We started homeschooling yesterday! Heather is so excited about learning. She insists on calling me "Teacher" when we are doing school stuff...lol. Tonight we read out of her Family Bible, part of our curriculum. We read about creation. So, I asked Heather who created the world. She responded by telling me that God created the world. I then told her to tell her daddy about the story we read. She ran to Brad and asked him, "Daddy, do you know what God made?" Then, she went on to say, "The world, the fish, the birds, the sky,......". She went on and on. I'm so proud of her. I hope that her love of learning continues for a long time to come. We are going to Grandma Barbara's house this next week, and I'll be sure to take her books along. I'm sure she'll want her grandma and auntie to know that she is in "school".
